Michele is a seasoned, comprehensive, and compassionate nurse practitioner who believes in the strength of her relationships with her patients. She truly resonates with the core principle of this practice – “We’ve found a better way”: a better way to provide excellent care (even in our deteriorating state of health care), a better way to build relationships with patients and a more convenient way for patients to have their medical needs met. She is an advocate for her patients like none other – as Dr. Su attests from working with her for 8 years prior to this practice, “If you ever need someone to go to bat for you, Michele’s who you want on your team! I’d have any family or friend see her for their care, with full confidence.”
Michele is experienced with all ages of patients, from infants to seniors. She has a strong holistic approach to her patient care: assessing and understanding not just the physical, but also the mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of each individual. She is especially knowledgeable in the area of Lyme disease, including chronic Lyme/tickborne illnesses – in fact, she first introduced Dr. Su to this topic, and inspired him to learn more about this immense and growing need, which eventually culminated in the creation of this practice’s TICS consulting program (see www.pcpnewburyport.com/tics- ticborne-infections- consulting-services/).
Michele is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Masters program as a certified Family Nurse Practitioner and is a member of ILADS (www.ILADS.org). She is a long-term resident of Newburyport and lives with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys sports, outdoor activities, learning in general, and DIY projects.
